Why I’m Building My Business Around a Colour

In January 2023, I thought I was free.

I’d just quit my 9–5 teaching job. I was finally building my own business.

But when I looked at my calendar, it told a different story.

Power Hours. Back-to-back calls. Blue block after blue block. No room to breathe, let alone think. 

Even with white space between meetings, I still felt rushed. Because white space is just absence. What I really craved was presence.

What is “Pink Space”?

Pink Space is the feeling you get watching a sunset.

Light. Peaceful. Present.

It’s not about working less. It’s about building differently — with more intention, more alignment, and more room to actually think.

It’s why I started removing calls from my calendar. It’s why I walk mid-morning without checking LinkedIn. It’s why my brand literally has pink in it — as a daily reminder of what I’m really building toward.

Freedom isn’t an empty calendar. It’s a week that feels like you.

I used to think more meant better

More content. More offers. More clients. More money. But like I read in an email that hit me hard: “Even the word number starts with numb.” (Jacob Pegs)

When everything becomes a stat — so do you. I didn’t want to be defined by my calendar or my KPIs. I wanted to feel good in my work. 

To have time for creativity, for deep focus, for walking slowly in the rare Irish sun.

And ironically?

When I slowed down… everything else sped up. The right clients showed up. My work got better. My message got sharper. Not because I did more — but because I did less of what drained me, and more of what mattered.

So what does Pink Space look like now?

It looks like slower mornings and sharper thinking. It looks like offers built around ease, not pressure. It looks like Multilingual Mastery — a community rooted in rhythm, not rushing.

It looks like using AI as an assistant to build systems that simplify the grind, buy back your time, and protect your peace.

Every strategy I teach — from my Signature Offer System to how I run campaigns — is designed to give you time back, not take more of it away.

Because you don’t need more hustle.

You need space. Structure. A system that supports the life you actually want to live.

So next time you look at your calendar, ask yourself:

What colour does it feel like? And what colour do you want it to be?
